Terms of Service

1. What ff.uy is

ff.uy ("we", "the service") is a link forwarding tool operated by A2B Latam Group LLC. Unlike a traditional link shortener, ff.uy lets you change a link's destination after it's created, without changing the original short URL.

2. User accounts

To create links you need an account with a valid email and password. You're responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account.

3. Plans and payments

ff.uy offers the following plans:

Free: randomly generated links, at no cost, automatically expiring 90 days after creation.
Vanity: monthly subscription that enables a personal prefix (e.g. ff.uy/yourname/*) with unlimited links while the subscription is active.
Vanity Premium: includes everything in Vanity, plus short suffixes (1-3 characters), custom expiration per link, aggregate analytics, and API access.
Vanity Premium Elite: includes full Vanity Premium, and lets you reserve a short prefix (1-3 characters) through an additional one-time charge on top of the subscription payment.

Payments are processed through Stripe. We do not store card numbers or payment data on our own servers.

4. Refunds and cancellations

The one-time Vanity Premium Elite charge for the short prefix is non-refundable once the payment is confirmed, except for a verifiable error on our part.

Vanity and Vanity Premium subscriptions can be canceled at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period already paid for. When you cancel, your reserved prefix stays under your name for a grace period (currently 30 days) before being released, and its associated links expire at the end of that period if the subscription isn't reactivated first.

5. Acceptable use

By using ff.uy, you agree not to use the service to:

Distribute malware, phishing, or content designed to deceive or harm third parties.
Link to illegal content under applicable laws.
Impersonate another person, brand, or entity.
Send spam or run unsolicited mass campaigns using our links.
Attempt to compromise the service's security or access other accounts.

We reserve the right to suspend or remove, without prior notice, any link or account that violates this policy.

6. Prefixes and Vanity words

Reserving a prefix or a Vanity word grants a right of use while your account is active and current on payments — it does not constitute a transfer of ownership over that word or domain. We reserve the right to reclaim prefixes or slugs that infringe on third-party trademarks, with prior notice when possible.

7. Service availability

We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with prior notice when reasonably possible.

8. Limitation of liability

ff.uy is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, A2B Latam Group LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including loss of traffic, data, or revenue linked to links created on the platform.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms periodically. Significant changes will be notified by email or via a notice on the site before taking effect.
