Privacy Policy

Notice: this policy describes in plain language what data we handle and why. It does not replace legal advice on regulatory compliance (for example, GDPR if you have users in the EU, or local data protection laws).

1. What data we collect

Payment data (processed by Stripe)	Billing for paid plans. Never touches our servers

2. How we use your data

We use your data only to operate the service: authenticating you, processing payments, showing stats for your links, and preventing abuse. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.

3. Who we share data with

We share limited information with:

Stripe, to process payments. Stripe has its own privacy policy, available at stripe.com/privacy.
DreamHost, our hosting provider, which hosts the infrastructure ff.uy runs on.

We don't share your data with anyone else, unless required by law.

4. Cookies and sessions

We use a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you identified while using the service. This cookie is secure (only travels over HTTPS) and isn't accessible from JavaScript. We don't use advertising tracking cookies.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep your account data while it remains active. Links on the free plan are automatically deleted 90 days after creation. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our database within a reasonable timeframe, except for legal or accounting obligations that require keeping it longer.

6. Your rights

You can request from us at any time:

Access to the data we have about you.
Correction of inaccurate data.
Deletion of your account and associated data.

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data: encrypted passwords, HTTPS enforced across the whole site, and login attempt limits to prevent brute-force attacks. No system is 100% foolproof, and we recommend using a unique password for your ff.uy account.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy periodically. Significant changes will be notified by email or via a notice on the site.
